A note from Horse House: Training is not a luxury for a horse. It is a necessity.

We have always believed that training is a necessity for a horse. We have never wavered on our opinion.

Many horses today end up at slaughter auctions young, having never or seldomly been handled, and most of those horses end up on the slaughter truck. We help those that we can. In order to help improve their chances of avoiding being faced with the same situation again down the road, we try to get the training that the horse needs. We do outsource for this because we feel that the horse should benefit from a professional trainer, whose skills and experience are time tested and proven rather than our own abilities, which would be limited in comparison to what a professional trainer can do.

We are a family operated organization dedicated to equine welfare, and proper care, control, and individual, meaningful attention given to each horse each day, which is why we are proudly the very smallest horse welfare advocate organization in the general area of any kind.
