"Most people spend their whole life trying to establish their place in the world.
In the relatively short time Jarred was amongst us he accomplished that.
His place was here.
He was well liked and respected by everyone who knew him.
His work and his horses were admired, and sought after.
He loved and cared for his grandfather in his final years.
He was a true southern gentleman and scholar.
I don't know how we will get along without him, but I refuse to be sad.
I will celebrate his life, and treasure the good times that we had with him." - Matt Nielsen

"The dog’s name is Rue, officially it is Un-Rue-Lee, since his grandfather had all his horses have the "Lee" as part of their registered names. I thought this registered name was kind of neat." - Dan Robinson, Jarred's dad.
